The view up the valley Everything on Maui is very green and lush with vegetation right now. It has been a wet winter. The area surrounding the cache is an abandoned plantation and there are still piles of rocks that leveled some areas (for buildings?)

Petroglyphs nearby The image on the left is probably an imitation. There are some very nice images there but a lot of them are made by copycats.

Humpback whale Ok, I have to admit it. This picture was not taken from the cache site but nearby from a boat. Busted Bunny does have a very good vantage point for whale watching from the cache. We saw whales every day on this side of the island. Many humpback whales spend their winters in the waters around Maui and some migrate all the way from Alaska.
