Mulberry, Florida Phosphate played an important role in the town’s development, named for the Mulberry Tree, which in the late 18th century had become the center point of the community. Nestled at the intersection of state routes 37 & 60 is just south of Lakeland.

Orlando Intl. Airport The 2nd busiest airport in FL, 13th in the US and 29th in the world by passenger traffic. Formerly known as McCoy AFB until closure and all Air Force flight operations ceased in early 1975. You were in a TB hotel nearby that caters to this airport.
