Invest in a wetsuit! Every time I visit the Aquatic Park, I marvel at the fact that people swim in just their bathing suits in that very cold bay water. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Groovy Bugs 2 Does anyone else think it's ironic that the Hippie movement, a movement about peace and loving all of mankind was born in the section of town pronounced "The Hate"? When we were here last June, the were having the "Haight Festival". You should have seen the look on this South African man's face when we told him the name of the festival.

Groovy Bugs These bugs were visiting the famed corner of Haight and Ashbury. The area gave birth to the hippie movement of the 1960s. (OK, really it was the late 60s and early 70s but that's kind of a mouthful to say.)
