Geogus at the Urn Geogus has been with us for a while because we have needed to find a cache big enough for him. He came with us to Susan Stranks country, Very White Peak, Chrome Hill Cache, Yomping Yet Again, Stop! Cheshire, and Castles In The Air but unfortunately none of these homes were large enough for our "outer space" friend. We are sure he will be happy at The Urn which is on top of a hill and reaches up like a finger into space! You will notice he is "phoning home" - oh no that's another ET isn't it!

Alien seen at mysterey site While attempting to track the activities of the mysterious Templars strange things occured, one of them being my GPS receiver not operating properly close to a site reportedly concealing hidden treasures of the Templars. A short time later this alien being was seen and captured in a photograph. Could the mysterious Templars have contacted life on other worlds?

GeoGus and friends GeoGus was rather surprised to find out that his new friend were born in a cabbage patch 15-20 years ago. However in his typical alien way he is quite understanding of this strange method of birth.
Please note GeoGus's new towel. He read "the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" in 3.45 seconds -- normally he only spends 0.78 seconds on a book but HGttG was so interesting that he lingered over it -- and decided that he simply must have a towel since they are so useful to a space traveler. Also note his plastic spacesuit -- aka, bag -- behind him. He will go back into this after his photo op is over. He prefers spending time by himself unless he is caching. His stars, while not visible in the picture, are still attached to him.
Geogus went to several caches a couple of weekends ago (GCB6FA & GC2658 have pixs) but all were too small for him to travel in. This weekend -- in typical perverse Midwest weather -- it is much too cold for him to explore further caches. Perhaps in Florida in a couple of weeks?
GeoGus wants all of his former travelmates to know that he is doing well and is being kept safe, sound, and dry.

On the compass rose GeoGus ponders this strange system of "north" and "south" on the planet Earth. From where he comes from all directions point everywhere. Of course this makes geocaching hard in his world!
