The little tree might be 15 years old, this is a hard place for a tree to grow. 5 Sep 05 View Image Looking at Paulina Peak from the Big Obsidian Flow The peak on the left side of the picture is the top of Paulina Peak, the Almost 8000 cache is behind the 3 peaks on the right side of the picture, maybe 1/4 mile downhill. All this stuff in front is the Big Obsidian Flow. Obsidian is glassy stuff that volcanos sometimes make.
