Bear Up There! Though nowadays it's heavily neglected and vandalized, the monument was originally placed beside the Raritan in 1930 as a memorial to New Brunswick's soldiers. Now it stands crowded by an apartment complex, a superhighway and an 18-screen movie theater... but not totally forgotten.
