Mary's school Blue Intel Guy in front of "Mary's School." This school was built in 1798. The school was purchased by Henry Ford in 1926 and moved to its present location. It served as an active four-grade school unitl 1951.
The schoolhouse was believed to be the one mentioned in Sarah Hale's beloved poem, "Mary had a Little Lamb." It is now used for occasional special classes.
