Kraft Kraft built this facility to be a Luis Rich turkey processing plant. the plant was closed in 1991 and was converted to a parmesan cheese plant in 1994. In 2007, the Knudsen cottage cheese and sour cream production was moved to this location, after the Vidalia plant was closed.

Saputo #2 Originally Cheese Protein International (CPI), built by Land ‘O Lakes in 2002, this is the newest dairy plant in Tulare. This plant process over 6 million pounds of milk each day, making just over 600,000 pounds of cheese daily.

Haagen-Dazs This was one of two Haagen-Dazs ice cream plants in the US, until the New Jersey plant was closed in 1998. If you really want Haagen-Dazs, you have to come to Tulare.

Land ‘O Lakes Originally the Dairyman’s Cooperative Creamery Assn. (DCCA), established in 1909, this is the oldest dairy plant in Tulare. DCCA merged with Land ‘O Lakes in 1998. This plant process over 11 million pounds of milk each day, 365 days a year.
