Lanesville Home on Vestal's Gap Road Perhaps George slept here a time or two. Since it isn't noted on the plaque maybe he didn't. The house is old enough so who knows. It is at the halfway point and I figured that George wouldn't mind a few pics here.

Washington visits McConkey's Ferrry Inn again! Inside, with a reproduction of a letter Washington wrote, with items from that time. General Washington was actually in this room in December 1776, Hessian officer prisoners kept upstairs for a few days after the critical big victory.

Watch out - redcoat! Fortunately the British (re-enactors) did not expect General Washington to be checking out the location, though since it is now named Washington Crossing they should have.
