DSCN0070 well we got to spend a few hours here today. It was very busy. it was the anuall alien week. they had all sorts of book signings and lectures and videos and tons of people. we were hoping to get and seem some crazy people but it was raining and i guess it kept a good few of them in. we did get to see a couple of people dressed up but nothing like it would have been if it was a nicer day.

DSCN0854 well when we got to this one today we had about 2 hours to wait. there was a missle testing in progress. so we stuck around and watched the film and the little one started her stuff to be a jr. ranger. We spent a good few hours here. we got out and sled down the sand dunes. we took a trail and we ran into cliff (a volenteer) and got a lesson on the process that occers here. we made a good day of it. thanks for the cache.

DSCN0105 FTF. well i got to this one and and seen a fellow cacher already in search. (Mseely) so we chatted a minute and got a little search on and seems all the GZ's was putting us in the same spot. well after a few more minutes. Mseely had to get to work so i decided to put the GPS down. and just look around thinking where can you hade a can of that size. and what do ya know after about 5 more minutes i found it. sittin gthere all nice and cozy. i had two GPS units there and also Mseely and we were all

signing the log got this one today while doing a few cache in the area. when we lifted the cache it had a scared little mouse behind it.....
wife jsut had to take the cook book that was in there....i guess i cant complain....if it gets her to cook LOL

DSCN0014 #600 ******finaly made it by this one. the night it popped up i was in a wedding so shooting out for a FTF would have been hard to do. then i spent the week out of town and figured i was so close to 600 i would do it for that. as for the numbers yes i have a few more FTF since this popped up. My numbers and dates are a bit off as i only did like 28 cache i think in 2007 and then started up again almost a year later and have done about 570 in the past 6 or 7 months. can you say ADDICTED.

found another gun at the cache site well well well. here we go again. This morning i got a call from teh local PD. they were doing the normal questons i guess the where when and how i came across teh gun i found. well i told him i will show him the exact spot. well i took him out there and he stayed up on the hill and i climbed down into the thorns and stuff and then showed him the little clearing where i found the gun. well he then asked if i found anything alse at that time or if i see any thing and about that time i looked to m

the ak i found at the cache ****FTF**** and cache #500 to boot and boy do i have a story on this one......I was working down the road and knew this one popped up the other day. so i came over to the area after i got done. I did not have my GPS with me btu rember looking at the cache on google. so with that knowlage I started to look. about 100 feet north from the cache. well i was looking and kicked somthing and looked down. it was a gun. i thought it was a BB gun and picked it up to check it out and then noticed it was a

VW in 3 states at once k, we got this one today as we were trying to get some counties out of the way for the Texas Chanenge. This was a cool little spot.

DSCN0012 finaly get to mark this off my to do list....we went the wrong way for sure. took us abotu 1.5 hours to get to cache and then about 30 minutes to get back.......very tired now.
we took a yellow jeep to move on and we also left a TB.
just as we left teh cache ans was entering the woods i almost stepped on a snake. he was not a real big one but then again any bigger then a worm and it will freak ya out when you almost step on it.

huge cactus this was our last cache of the day. we were out on the beautiful day tryin gto knock out a few counties. we found this one on teh ground. we signed log and put in a better spot in the same area.
