Lili'uokalani Botanical Garden When we arrived at Lili'uokalani Botanical Garden, Cookie told us that she wanted to stay there. It is a beautiful location next to a creek, in a fairly large cache container with plenty of room for her. We shared a hug as we parted ways, but she assured us she would be just fine in her new (temporary) Hawaiian home. We look forward to watching her progress online.

Huge Atlas Beetles Cookie was a little concerned when she saw these huge beetles - she thought they might eat her! We reassured her that they were animatronics - huge robotic creatures that don't actually eat anything. She was relieved to hear that and enjoyed the rest of the display.

Hawaiian Origins Tunnel On her last day with us, Cookie visited the Hawaiian Origins tunnel at the Bishop Museum. The black light made everything in the tunnel glow - very cool!

Honolulu Zoo Cookie came to the zoo with us, but the cache container there was too small for her to stay. Instead of staying outside in the cache container, she came in and enjoyed seeing all of the cool animals. She especially liked the giraffes.

Waimanalo Beach We built sand castles and played in the surf at Waimanalo Beach park. Cookie was having a lot of fun watching sand crabs.

Lava Beach We took Cookie to a lava rock beach at Sandy Beach Park on O'ahu. We found a cache there, but she was having too much fun with us to stop there. We looked at tidal pools together and saw some intersting little fish.

Halona Blowhole The first adventure we took Cookie on was to the Halona Blowhole on O'ahu (Hawaii). She was interested in how high the water spurted up out of the hole.
