At 12,600 Feet Flossy wondering when the bus is heading back down the mountain, we were in thin air after driving up North America's highest paved road. The road to the summit is closed after Labor day so Summit Lake was the highest we could go. Mount Evan's Peak is over 14,000 feet above sea level and was visible from this spot.
