We'll miss 'im. 15 Apr 06 View Image That is burly moose We definitely had an adventure trying to find this moose which we saw last summer while hiking around the Chena Lake Recreation Area. Turns out they migrate him from the visitor area to the local Army Corp of Engineers HQ during the winter. But we found it! Of course we had to sneak past a no-tresspassing sign to get the shots. Thankfully no one came out or asked what we were doing poking around the area before we got the pictures. =)

A co-worker mentioned there was a moose out this way that we could use for comparison. Unfortunately it turns out the moose was either stolen or broke.
