Lewis & Clark and Seaman Silas (seen directly above the name plaque) checks out the new, larger-than-life bronze statue of L&C and Seaman, the Newfoundland breed dog that accompanied the expedition. The statue is in front of the new L&C Interpretive Center adjacent to the Sergeant Floyd River Boat Museum.

Sergeant Floyd River Boat Silas the White Catfish TB rests on the post in front of the retired Corps of Engineers river boat the Sergeant Floyd. The craft was named after Sergeant Floyd, the first (and only) person to perish on the L&C expedition who is buried just a few miles downstream from this location.
