Happy Hippo at the Tennessee River South bank of the Tennessee River off highway 231, south of Huntsville, Al. Bridge to the left is 231. Ditto Landing on the far bank.

HH's resting place This is the creek along side of where Happy Hippo now rests. Those reeds aren't papyrus, but it'll have to do.

Happy Hippo at the beach Here's Happy Hippo on a little beach on the Severn River. The US Naval Academy is across the river, to your left. Temperature was about 45 degrees, so HH didn't dabble his toes.
