West Lake: Hangzhou This picture is on West Lake in the city of Hangzhou. Hangzhou is one of 8 ancient capitals of China. The Grand Canal is man made and stretches from Beijing to Hangzhou.
Hangzhou is located at the south east coast of China and is a central city in the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta

My Students This is in my classroom with one of my classes. Students are in school from 7 AM till 8 PM. They get a 1 1/2 hour break after lunch to take a nap. 50 students in a class and 12 classes per grade. That is 600 students per grade at just one of the schools!
