Emirates Palace: Abu Dhabi, UAE The Emirates Palace was the first palace of Sheik Zayed. A newer and larger palace was built a short distance for this one. The palace you see in the background is now a magnificent hotel.

Camel Underpass As the UAE road infrastructure expands into the desert, the planners also included underpasses for camels to move from one part of the desert to another. The camels in the background of my picture my picture just traveled under the highway.
