A fascinating site in Leicestershire G F Handel is reputed to have sat in this temple (before it was ruined) and composed "The Messiah". Gopsall Hall itself was destroyed in 1950's, one can find out more of its history on a website. Lovely area, small woodland copse, plenty of bluebells soon!
