Al at the Alaska HWY marker in Dawson Creek. This photo shows the mile zero marker for the Alaska highway. Al was there to visit it on his way through town. This area is popular for TB's that are trying to get ot Alaska because this is the final HWY a person has to travel on. From this point its about 1500 miles to go.

Lesser Slave Lake I took this photo while at the Marten River cache with Al and Dusty. The lake is quite large 80+ miles long, and the trail where this cache was hidden is part of a pioneer trail developed way back in the late 1800s to navigate around the lake, while heading for the Yukon gold rush. It is now part of the Trans-Canada Trail (A hiking/biking trail that crosses Canada from coast to coast to coast) which branches in Alberta and heads for the Arctic ocean.
