...we even met some of his kind... Granted, the non-flying type, but he was quite colorful... We didn't dare to let him meet Little Birdie face to face, but kept them a few metres apart... [8D]

Flora of Gili Trawagan The flowers are everywhere. Gili Trawagan is quite dry - no freshwater sources - but there are still flowers everywhere. And beautiful ones, too... Little Birdie sure enjoyed them :)

Prickley pear cactus at Gili Trawagan Not only banana, coconut & other palms on this paradise island; cactii too... And there are no cars... only boats and horse carriages... At night, you can see a billion stars and hear the waves hit the beach... At the neighbouring Gili Meno, there is also a turtle sanctuary. Little Birdie joined us when we saw two turtles being released into the ocean, a very special experience...

Shaun the sheep at Gili Trawagan Little Birdie traveled with the trackable Shaun the Sheep - he had a little siesta near the cache location. Since he was softer, we managed to squeeze shaun the sheep into the cache box...
The Indonesian islan Lombok is seen in the background...

Little Birdie near the cache at Gili Trawagan Coconut palms, 33°C, torquise water and clear blue skies... We thought this would be an ideal location for Little Birdie to stay. Unfortunately, the cache box was too small, we couldn't get him in. So we just photographed him visiting this paradise island & brought him with us back again. He will be dropped off in a couple of weeks...
