Die Grüne Streife (The green strip), Erlangen in Röthelheimpark in Erlangen. In the spring, you can see the lilies and tulips bloom near the rows of trees. This huge green area in the the city, yet not far from Reichswald (Forest) is a great place to enjoy nature, play soccer, or just hang out.

The Orangerie in Erlangen Orangerie in Erlangen (a real garden...but there is not much to see in winter. If you do a google images search for 'Orangerie Erlangen' or 'Schosspark Erlangen' you can get an idea of this tranquil area in Erlangen in the spring and summer months).

Staffelberg Not exactly a garden, but Staffelberg is a part of the Nature Reserve of the Frankonian Forest (Naturpark Fränkische Schweiz).
