NC Welcome Center Tapper likes being a TarHeel - He is working part time at the welcome center until the Blue Ridge Parkway re-opens.

Visiting the Blue Ridge Parkway Tapper has made 2 attempts in January to climb to the top of Mt. Pisgah. Although the weather was nice at the time the Blue Ridge Parkway was to closed from either direction around the Mt. Pisgah Trailhead. If the weather stays as warm as it has so far in January Tapper will get there before spring.
