Passing through Plant City, FL Renamed in 1885 to honor railroad tycoon, Henry B. Plant. Originally named Ichepucksassa after an Indian village then named Cork. Originally known as a large cotton center; now its strawberries. Produces 3/4s of the nation's midwinter strawberries.

Traveling along US Route-27 Appeared in 1926, replacing western route of the Dixie Highway in many places. Designated a Memorial Highway by the Florida State Legislature. It was named after long-time Senator & congressman Claude Pepper. Route runs from Miami, FL thru Michigan.

Passed by Disney's custom utility pole This unique structure is at exit 62 "World Drive" the main entry to Disney World from Interstate-4. Mickey's ears are even lit up after dark! When the kids see this they know Mickey is not far away... no more "are we there yet?"
