Visiting Orange County, Florida Established in 1824 as Mosquito County & took up much of Central Florida. In 1845 renamed Orange County for the fruit that constituted it’s main product, & most of the area created new counties. Nowadays citrus has been replaced by land development.

Lodging near Orlando International Airport The 2nd busiest airport in FL, 13th in the US and 29th in the world by passenger traffic. Formerly known as McCoy AFB until closure and all Air Force flight operations ceased in early 1975. You were in a TB hotel nearby that caters to this airport.
