Buzz watching the ceremony Buzz listening and watching the ceremony. "What is going on? What's taking so long? Shouldn't this be quick, they've been together for so long?". This is Buzz's first wedding event and he has no clue, he is used to getting orders and getting swift action. Although knowing Buzz we guess he knows that very well, but he was really eyeballing the luncheon and the cake after the wedding. We guess that is where his priorities are.

Buzz inspecting the ceremony setup Buzz was so excited today. He worked hard on finding the perfect ropes to tie the knot, measuring it exact and optimum length, and making sure the Dutchmen knew what to do. Of course he showed up like 2 hours prior to the event, inspecting the sand, the chairs and everything. "Buzz, is this what you will wear for the event?" He blushed, and said, "this is my best suit, I polished my helmet, and waxed my suit and it looks great doesn't it?". For us it seems a bit out of space for this event....

Buzz @ New Hampshire Breakfast Club “Hey Buzz! Wanna go the Breakfast Club?” We asked a number of times before he gave a sign of life and decided to come along. At breakfast he was just fascinated: discovering trackables and having conversation while eating maple syrup-drenched pancakes is his favorite thing. “Buzz, how are the pancakes?” “Awesome, Dutchmen! But I think I got myself into a sticky situation” he said while he looked down on his suit. We peeked and spotted a generous amount of maple syrup. Yup, very sticky indeed.

Buzz Assisting with the FTF during the Event This special event to say goodbye to COMTG was one that Buzz had been looking forward to. Why became obvious when we arrived and found ourselves in a vibrant beer garden. At noon a new cache was published and Buzz ran over to GZ, finding he was outran by fellow cachers who were already signing the log. "Buzz, you late?" "Nope, here to assist with the FTF party, and I can confirm it is going well!". We have to admit that is true. "Dutchmen, do you mind if I head back to the beer garden?"

Buzz Receives Community Medal of Honor "Buzz! There is a package in the mail for you! I think it is from HQ!". Buzz got all excited, he was expecting new marching orders from HQ for some upcoming coded projects, of course he would never speak about those. He inspected the envelope and opened it. "Dutchmen! I am granted the Community Medal of Honor!" He turned quiet, showed it to us. He fully understood what it meant to get this esteemed award. And so did we.

Buzz and Event Log "Dutchmen! Did you see this log?" Buzz is all excited about this event log. Of course we saw it, we signed our name using the full width of the log! Buzz immediately began steering event-goers to the log which was moving in the crowd. "People, we have no traditional logbook today. Find the event host and sign your name - while not pressing too hard - on his shrt please!". Yeah, that is Buzz as we know him. Thank you Buzz, for being a great help!

Buzz Awarded Medal by Lackey Love Today Buzz met HQ Lackey named LOVE. After a brief conversation wit Buzz he received a special medal from LOVE. Buzz was excited to add it to his collection. When we asked for what special occasion or mission he received it, he just said "geocaching stuff". Yeah. Geocaching stuff. That is all he had to say about and what he discussed with the HQ Lackey.... What else would you do at a MEGA?

Buzz and the Spring Fling Log Sheet Here is Buzz on the event log sheet. Usually he is bossing everyone around, assigning spots where cachers can sign their name and giving them an assigned color for the marker, this time he is just taking it all in. “This is great! Look at this log, it is filling up nicely! “. Buzz was clearly enjoying the moment of a new mega event.

Buzz Recreating Trackables Hands-on events like this one brings out the best of Buzz. He is super organized, making sure all goes according to plan and that everyone can remake at least one trackable. "People, first, the 3 is not an E, the 6 is also a 9, and the M is not an upside down W, the 7 looks like a 1.... So PAY ATTENTION to orientation of the stamp". Looking at the first tag we stamped: yep, we did it all wrong, we stamped a 9 instead of 6... We should have listened more carefully to Buzz.

Twosday 22222 and Early Koffie An early midweek event for Buzz, he is not used to these workday events. Here he is, enjoying koffie and showing the event log book. Buzz didn’t say much this early, except “twosday, 2/22/22, that is a lot of 2’s”. Thank you Buzz for noticing and coming to the event!

Buzz is a Valentine? Buzz has been poking at us everyday for the entire week. "Dutchmen, we ARE going to the Valentyms event, right?". So yes, we went and made an appearance, and it was quite a sight. All the girls ran over and showered Buzz with Valentyms candy and chocolate. He just blushed and smiled. We asked "Buzz, who is YOUR valentym?". He didn't immediately respond, looking around. Then he gave his fuzzy answer "The cute girl over there", while pointing everywhere and nowhere. We smiled, and let it be.

Buzz in Hawaii Here is Buzz on Maui. After the event he rushed to a beach since turtles were reported there. And there he stood, and stared... taking a careful look at the turtles. Buzz was speechless. "Everything ok, Buzz?" "Yeah... just can't figure out how their helmet is supposed to work". We'll let him ponder about that for a while and enjoy what nature offers us.

Buzz @ Cachemastym 2021 Here is Buzz, as soon as we got to the event he ran to the registration table, signed in and grabbed the Dutchmen’s special name tag. In his excitement he couldn’t wait for the Dutchmen to catch up. “Buzz, do you know there is a puzzle associated with this tag?” He looked at us giving us that stare from outer space… then he said “yeah, there is one character on the back, that doesn’t make a puzzle! You need at least seven more!” It sounded like he just made this up. Do you think he is right?

Buzz at Palindrome Event "Buzz, it's a palindrome day today, and there is an event!" Well, it took quite a bit of nudging to get Buzz excited, out of bed and into the cache mobile. "Palindrome, what is that all about? Will be there be a show? Donuts? Cookies?" We felt it could turn into a real slow morning for Buzz. But once he saw the numbers on the log page though his eyes turned real big. "Dutchmen!! Do you see what's unique about those numbers?!!" Yeah Buzz, we know.... We tried to tell you this morning...

Buzz showing medal awarded by Ari54321 During "World Hello Day" Buzz met Ari54321 and he got to say Hallo and speak a few words Dutch. While Buzz speaks many languages, this is the very first time I heard him speak DUTCH. "Buzz, where did you learn all this Dutch?" He squinted his eyes and smiled. "just by listening to you, Dutchmen! And did you notice that I didn't use any of those funny Dutch curse words?". That is true, his language was crisp and clean. For that Ari54321 awarded him a special medal.

Buzz showing medal awarded by EileenK9 "World Hello Day" proved to be a busy day for Buzz. Wherever he went and saw people he would randomly say "Hello, Gutentag, Ola, Hallo or Bonjour". "Buzz, do you know any of these people, and how do you know what language to use?". He gave us a funny look and said "Not really, but isn't is just nice if someone says Hello to you, and you say hello back?". He is right, it's about being kind, and for that Buzz received a medal from Lackey EileenK9 today. And for attending her event, of course.
