First Earth Cache - Pu'u Wa'awa'a Dropped at Hapapepe Trail at the base of Pu'u Wa'awa'a, a cinder cone on Hawaii Island that formed approximately 100,000 years ago. The eruption produced large quantities of obsidian, which litters the path leading to the top of the pu"u.
