Sailor Andy at Monterey Bay This picture was taken on January 17th @ high noon, at New Brighton State Beach, a few miles south of Santa Cruz looking south toward Monterey. Over my wrist, what appears to be a pier is actually a cement ship that was towed and sunk there in 1929. For history on the sunken ship, and more about where Andy is (was) on shore leave, see:
