The Seven Sisters These mountains were named The Seven Sisters are a locally well-known, much-beloved range above Montreat and Black Mountain, N.C. Black Mountain is also known for a college from the 1930s, with some art students that were from Bauhaus (Germany).

North Carolina mountains Northern mountains They could be from the Blue Ridge parkway, but they are part of the Black Mountain, Mountains. They are called Black Mountain due to the trees that used to grow up there the bark was so dark it made the mountain look black. There are only a few left.
