Continental Divide Sign This monument marks a Continental Divide: Waters to the west and north drain to Hudson Bay; the east and south drain to the Gulf of Mexico.
In addition to being a significant remnant of prehistoric moutain - building and glaciation, it has political significance: It kept those portion of northwestern Minnesota, northeastern South Dakota and Eastern North Dakota that drain to Hudson Bay out of the United State of America until 1818.

Little Buddy at Travel Stop cache Little Buddy just earned a patch. The Scouting For Food patch was in the cache so I put it in the bag along with Little Buddy.

Twins Win!! It was a great game! The Twins beat the Oakland A's by a score of 9-4. Here is a picture from the 8th inning. It was a tense moment. The A's had the bases loaded! (Frank Thomas is on third base). There were 2 outs and the Twins brought in their closer, Joe Nathan. He got the third out with just one pitch and we went on to win!!! The Twins are now just 1.5 games out of first place in the American League Central!
What baseball team do you boys cheer for? I'm going to guess the Atlant

9/11 Ceremony Because it was the the 5th anniversary of 9/11, they had a ceremony before the game. They had sheriff cars, police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances on the field and a large American Flag in the outfield, which was unrolled by members of the US military. These are the folks who protect us every day.

Former World Series Champs! Here's LB in front of the plaque outside the Metrodome, commemorating the two World Series that the Twins won in 1987 and 1991. I hope they can add 2006 to that plaque!

Outside the Metrodome Outside the Metrodome today they had two large firetrucks holding up a very large US Flag as part of the 9/11 activities.
