Final mileage for the day The normal route from the parking lot in Monument Park, out to Monument Peak, and back is ~16.5 miles. Today I got a very early (5AM) start and didn't stop until 5PM. Took a couple of detours to pick up caches in more remote areas of the park. There is also a 5-part series (Inca Gold) which really tacked on the mileage. I had a great time carrying Denali and I hope you like the pictures (we got really lucky on the weather as Mission Peak was totally socked in w/fog when I came back after visiti

Mission Peak - facing NE Got lucky on my trip today - on the way back the entire park was socked in w/fog (<12 ft visibility) and it stayed that way for the rest of day.

Top of Mission Peak - looking West Altitude for Mission Peak is listed @ 2,517. Closest cache (not puzzle leg) is Man on A Mission (GC2BB5) which is one of the earliest caches.
