Flying my streamers into the country club. Luke and I jumped into the Bay Springs Country Club today for their annual golf tournament and crawfish boil. A bunch of travel bugs and geocoins were along for the ride.

Jump #2: 208 miles per hour in freefall. My freefall computer/altimeter recorded a maximum fall rate of 208 mph on jump number two. Not a record breaker, but still pretty fast. When I flared out of my dive, the high-speed wind forces tried to tear the helmet off my head.

3,000 feet. Time to think about deploying a chute! Still in freefall. At 4,500 feet I turned and flew away from the other jumpers in the formation to find some empty airspace to deploy my chute. 3,000 feet is pull time. He who hesitates shalll inherit the earth.

Jump #1: This is NOT how an exit should look. The exit formation didn't come off of the plane smoothly, so there was some tumbling and bumping until we gave up on trying to save the exit, released our grips on each other and flew back together.
