The location is Lake Almanor, which is were the Cascades meet the Sierras. The organization's name is in Russian: translated, it means "Baikal Environmental Wave." We just call them "The Wave."

Sibyl is sitting next to a renowned Russian environmentalist who helped save Lake Baikal from an oil pipeline earlier this year-- Marina Rikhvanova.
