Op vakantie in de highlands van Schotland en vandaag een bezoekje aan Culloden gedaan. Een cache vlak naast het battlefield pakken we natuurlijk even mee. Blijkt deze tb erin te liggen die terug wil naar Nederland! We nemen hem mee naar zijn eigen land per boot van Newcastle naar IJmuiden als onze vakantie erop zit. "Birds of a Feather Geocoin" (owned by poildecarot) from Quebec Canada and was picked up in Mukilteo WA, "NLGEOCACHINGNL world traveler" (owned by NLGeocachingNL ) from Noord-Brabant, Netherlands, traveling back from a visit at Geocaching HQ in Seattle WA, and "Gold Train Spike" (owned by seod42) from WA state, picked up from a cache in Fridley, MN.

The travelers are taking a rest on the shores of the largest freshwater lake in the world: Lake Superior, just north of Duluth MN

Farmland of Minnesota, U.S.A. The farmland of MN is greener then the farmland of ND. However it is still veiled with a layer of smoke from the many wildfires of Montana, over 1,500 kilometers away.

Farmland of North Dakota U.S.A. Though many miles away from the wildfires in Montana, the smoke is still prevalent.

Mountains of Montana These are mountains in Montana, thinly veiled from the smoke of nearby wild fires. We were unable to see the big mountains due to too much smoke from the fires. We are flying to Minnesota after leaving Seattle, Washington.
