Luzern, Switzerland Green Jeep inspects the paintings on the Spreuerbrücke. The paintings ("Totentanz" or Death Dance) are meant to show that death takes everyone. Note the skeleton with the sickle standing behind the man. It wouldn't get public funding these days!!!

Luzern, Switzerland Green Jeep at the Löwendenkmal (Lion Memorial)...the dying lion. Carved in 1820/1821 for Swiss mercenaries who died in Paris on August 10, 1792 (or guillotined shortly thereafter) in the service of Louis XVI of France during the French Revolution.
