Resting On the road again, Car54 stopped at a rest area and decided to take a ride on a moose after finding a nearby cache.

Getting Wet! Oh no Car54! Cars go on ferries, not kayaks!

Back to School! Car54 went back to school and visited the Lower Sunday River School. This historic building was built in 1895. It housed 36 pupils and operated with a budget of $21.24 or 59 cents per pupil. Car54 says he can't put air in his tires at the gas station for that much anymore!

Lufkin School Car54 took a drive to Lufkin School in Rumford, Maine. Rumford had a “winter" School on the shore of the Androscoggin River near the Aaron Graham/Bartlett/Welch farm, which the children attended when the river was insufficiently frozen for them to walk across. Car54 says he would have taken them to school everyday if he was in the area!
