You can imagine the panic this caused. We all gathered with Scorp for a 'family photo' on this massive mountain top, snug as a bug, and he sees something down in the rocks...AND JUMPED AFTER IT! Burrowing under the Cairn pile. Took us an hour to coax him out with a wild Quail we caught to use as bait. YEESH!!!

Heading back from 'Peaked Out!: Mount Thurston. That is Elk Mtn in the distant, where we found Scorpion on the way up here, crying like a little beetle cause he was lonely. He sure had fun with us and playing with Bella! Time to go home, home he's comfy sleeping with Bella & me in our bed...
