A trip to Ames is not complete without getting a photo taken with at least one of them! Get in the CYCLONE spirit with CY! This Cy is known as the Spirit of Fashion!! It shows the freedom of creation in the fashion world, the flow and movement of fabric on the runway, the colors and endless possibilities of the fashion designer and models!! The name of Camelback Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona, is derived from its shape, which resembles the hump and head of a kneeling camel. The mountain, a prominent landmark of the Phoenix metropolitan area, is located in the Camelback Mountain Echo Canyon Recreation Area between the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix and the town of Paradise Valley. Thumb Butte is a distinctive landmark just west of Prescott, AZ, and also a popular hiking destination. There are several trailheads, including one that gains about 600 feet in elevation in a little more than a mile with benches for resting and descriptive signs along the way. This area has an interesting mixture of vegetation with ponderosa pine, pinyon pine, scrub oak, manzanita, yucca, and cactus. It is in the transition zone, between the desert to the south and conifer forests to the north. 23 Mar 22 View Image Wash. my Lucky Home in the Prescott Nat'l Forest!! The Prescott National Forest is a 1.25 million-acre US National Forest located in north central Arizona in the vicinity of Prescott. The forest is located in the mountains southwest of Flagstaff and north of Phoenix in Yavapai County, with a small portion extending into southwestern Coconino County. The Prescott Forest Reserve was established by the General Land Office on May 10, 1898. It was transferred to the U.S. Forest Service in 1906 and became a National Forest on March 4, 1907.

Built in 1970, the park includes a 29-acre 100 million gallon effluent lake, and its world famous fountain goes off everyone hour for 15 minutes between 9:00am-9:00pm. 3 May 18 View Image
