Not Williamsburg, but historical! If you're on your way to Williamsburg from Massachusetts, I guess Monhegan is as good a place as any to stop, maybe even better. After all, it is considered by some to be the "cradle of New England" for its part in sheltering various explorers and providing a rich fishing ground for settlers and native americans alike. The building behind me is one of the best historical museums I've ever seen, housed in the original light keeper's house.
