Kingston Flyer This train now only runs a 14 km run between Kingston (Sth Is.) and Fairlight but did run from Kingston at the bottom of Lake Wakatipu,near Queenstown to Invercargill at the bottom of the Sth Is. It carried all sorts of produce from the central area of the Sth Is.(photo from "breakaway.co.nz") site as I didn't have a digital camera then but took identical photos.)

Taieri Gorge Train The Taieri Gorge runs from Dunedin to Middlemarch in Central Otago. It was the old route used to take goods to the gold miners in the area. Picture taken from the "destinations nz site as I only had a paper copy.( Days before I got a digital camera.)
