Bones, bones and more bones Here we are in the bone room which was a sink hole which was open for 200 million odd years and then closed off. Many animals died when they fell in. Animals ranging from the mega fauna to todays species are present and well preserved.

Waiting for the tour to start We all went on a cave tour. It was a very hot day so it was a relief to get into the cool of the caves. Indeed they were very cool [:)]

Billy and a mate Billy posed with this mega fauna guy. He is a kangaroo which they reckon ate leaves from the trees much like koalas do today. This guy was huge, the life size model stands over 6 feet tall!! He has hurt his wrist at some point too [:)]

Billy and the Lion Even though this guy looks like a Tassie devil, he is not. Apparently he is a marsupial lion which lived in the area whilst the mega fauna was about. Billy was a little nervous about this photo, he thought he might become a snack. [:(]

Billy at Wonabi Visitor Centre Billy found the visitor centre first, he insisted I take a photo of him sitting on the wall. Little did he know of the interesting animals he was about to meet [:)]

Billy and Nowhere2Bseen Billy and I at Stairway to Hell. Quite a nice little sink hole in the middle of nowhere. It would take some goolies to dive into this one, even Billy wasn't keen for a swim :-)
