More crazy people! I doubt if it will show in the tiny pictures that GC shows, but behind the racer there are people about 75 to 100 feet away from the pier and about 150 feet from shore on the ice. Not to brilliant considering the temps at Lake Michigan today were in the mid 40s. We stayed on the pier instead of tempting fate!

Crazy people behind your racer! The people behind your racer are about 150 feet away from shore which in the summer would be open water of Lake Michigan. The ice is constantly breaking away. If they were to end up in the water they'd be dead within probably 4 minutes since the water temp is just barely above freezing. Me and the racer stayed on the pier where it was safe!
