Big Sweetie enjoys colonial history Visited an old schoolhouse (1820) & found cache - right side of photo, saw St. Clement's Island (where English settlers first landed in Maryland in 1634) - in the distance, and enjoyed a nice view.

Big Sweetie enjoys the sunset Big Sweetie helped us find a cache nearby and enjoyed the hike through the woods and along the shores of the St. Mary's River. Beautiful sunset. English colonists first settled here in Maryland in 1634.

Surratt House Big Sweetie helped find a cache hidden in the garden at Surratt House. The house was owned by Mary Surratt. She & her son were involved with the assassination of President Lincoln. http://www.surratt.org/ Sweetie stands on the historic marker in front on the house.

Chesapeake Bay Big Sweetie crossed the bay today to visit Kent Island (MD) for some geocaching. Chesapeake Bay & bridge in the background. It was very hot again today - too bad we couldn't go swimming!

Big Sweetie & micro Big Sweetie helped us find this pesky micro that we have tried to find many times. Hidden near a Starbucks located on the corner of the busiest intersection of the historic section, which is often grand central station for muggles 24/7!
