The only rock work left is around the Artesia Jr. High football or soccor field off of 13th street. I did not provide a waypoint for two reasons: One, I am just not positive since there are no plaques I could find and Two, school was just out and I was wondering about being labeled a DOM taking pictures of the young muggles all around. Decided to depart. Pool was torn down and replaced with s 21 Jan 05 View Image CCC Camp Site Guadalupe Thayer Hill or Peak was the Guadalupe CCC Camp Site for F-37 for two companies. Company 2868 official date 7/22/35 and 3347 date 11/18/38. The 3347 date is unusual since the second 8 in 2868 indicates the 8th Corps which Carlsbad was supposedly under. The second "3" indicates the 3rd Corps. Needs more research! Coordinates are for the Thayer "summit" which the camp was scattered around according to my sources.
