22 Jan 07 View Image about preeclampsia preeclampsia is a condition commonly suffered by pregnant diabetic women. their blood pressure becomes dangerously elevated, and it can adversely effect the mother's kidneys, brain, liver, and the placenta. 18 Jan 07 View Image born 1/8/07 my mommy GPSPMS has diabetes. she has high risk pregnancies. i'm okay now, but when i was born i had to be in the baby ICU...i weighed 11 pounds, had low bloodsugar, and breathing problems. i had an oxygen tube and feeding tube in my nose. they put a big IV in my belly button. my diabetic mommy was at risk for preeclampsia while she was pregnant with me. luckily she didn't develope it this time, but she did with my brothers.
