Welcome to Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas! What I love is that they have a brewery, the only brewery in a National Park. And if you can’t decide on which beer to try, just get all 18 line I did!!

Monday, August 27, 1990, at 12:50 a.m. Stevie Ray Vaughan and 3 passengers departed from a concert in Wisconsin aboard a helicopter in a dense fog. It banked sharply to the left and crashed into the side of a 300-foot ski slope, about 0.6 miles from takeoff. All on board were killed instantly. Nobody was aware of the crash until the helicopter failed to arrive at its destination the next morning.Stevie was buried here at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.

Visiting one of my favorite gravesites in Texas, Peter Mayhew. If you are a fan of Star Wars you will know that Peter Mayhew played the character of Chewbacca. A few years ago I brought some action figures and placed them on the grave and I was happy to see them still there with new ones added. May the force be with you! G’day, eh! As I was geocaching in some cemeteries around North Texas, I was able to find this trackable! I just got back from Washington DC and dropped off a bunch of trackables. So I am finding more for my next vacation. Have a Florida trip planned for end of July but would like to travel to either San Diego or Denver (or both) prior to but nothing planned yet. But love to cache and go on travel adventures! Let’s go!!!
