24 Jan 23 View Image I’ve enjoyed traveling with this trackable. It’s been with me for thousands of miles and I’ve logged many places and pictures. This is where we will part ways. Happy Travels! San Juan Puerto Rico. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 24 Jan 23 View Image San Juan, Puerto Rico. The game took me to a small park with sculptures. At the base of the one pictured with my remaining trackables is the cache. It’s another vertical white PVC pipe in the ground. Cache is under the cap. This type of cache is perfect for high traffic areas. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 24 Jan 23 View Image San Juan Puerto Rico This cache was perfect for a high traffic area with constant muggles. It earned a favorite point from me too. The host is the vertical white PVC pipe in the bushes. Unscrew the cap and the cache is underneath. 23 Jan 23 View Image Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas 8 Night cruise from Fort Lauderdale Florida. The trackables are on a cruise with me. This is our first day in a port and I’ll log the solo cache here shortly. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 21 Jan 23 View Image Fort Lauderdale Florida. Found a really cool birdhouse cache. Pull on the bird perch and the bottom drops out to reveal the cache. It earned a favorite point from me. I left 3 of my trackables there as I had fulfilled their missions. Remaining Trackables are pictured on a nearby sign out front. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 21 Jan 23 View Image Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The plan was to find a bunch of Geocaches here this evening as well as leave some TBs. Unfortunately, a piece of luggage got lost (not the one with the trackables). So instead I had to take my wife shopping. New suitcase and all. It was a very costly spat of bad luck. At least I had time to get one cache here before our voyage tomorrow. It’s a micro tucked up in the Drive thru sign for Starbucks. The trackables are pictured on top of the host. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 20 Jan 23 View Image SeaTac Washington. North Satellite Lounge. I have accumulated a big group of trackables for this next adventure. They are excited since most of them have never flown before. Also, many won’t be returning with me. I would like to keep them all, but their missions are clear and I’ll be setting them free in the appropriate spots far away. As for me, I’ll be logging several new records and places (for the game) on this trip. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app
16 Jan 23 View Image Gig Harbor Washington. This cache was really neat and a design I had not seen before. It’s the white pvc pipes with a mechanism that slides on the left, to make a bison tube drop out of the bottom right. The trackables are pictured on top of the host. Didn’t take them out of the bag here as it was raining and I was trying to hurry. This one earned a favorite point from me. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 16 Jan 23 View Image Gig Harbor Washington. The coordinates were off about 50’ but fortunately the hint came through like a charm. This cache was hidden under the boat the trackables are pictured on. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 4 Jan 23 View Image Tumwater Washington. A nice park near Tumwater Falls and this is one of the few caches in that area that needed to become a Happy Face for me. It’s a plastic tube/bottle in the crotch of the triple tree in the picture. It’s hidden under some leaves. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 3 Jan 23 View Image Happy New Year! First cache of 2023 and there will be more in lots of far away places starting late this month. For today, we are at a fairly new cache in a brand new neighborhood in Olympia Washington. It’s a small plastic tube inserted at the base of the Stop sign. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app
21 Dec 22 View Image Picture to go with the last post- Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 4 Dec 22 View Image Lacey Washington Another new cache in the area. This one is the bottle cap on the ground. It’s next to the metal post on the left side of the sign. The tiny cache is hidden underneath the cap. Haven’t seen one like this before. When the trash man comes to empty the garbage can, I’m afraid he may pick it up and throw it away (thinking that it’s trash that missed the can). Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 4 Dec 22 View Image Lacey Washington. I was on the way to put the finishing touches on my own new cache a short distance away. It should be published very soon. I noticed this one had just popped up and figured I better get it. Was 2nd to find! It’s hidden in the prickly bush behind the trackables. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 23 Nov 22 View Image Olympia Washington This one was kind of hard to find. The host is that cage in the picture. The cache was inside the bottom left support post. Had a small string to pull it down from its hiding spot. A small container with a magnet to hold it in place. 21 Nov 22 View Image Reno Nevada, Airport. Had just enough time to grab the cache out front of the terminal before checking in. It’s time to go home. The cache was a standard LPC at post G4 in the parking lot. The trackables didn’t want their picture at an LPC, so this is taken inside just prior to security by some artwork. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 21 Nov 22 View Image Reno Nevada- This cache is just down the street from the Atlantis Casino. The host is the big billboard sign and the cache is hidden under a fake switch plate cover behind the electric meter. Had nice camouflage and was hard to spot. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 19 Nov 22 View Image Reno Nevada Here for a weekend getaway. Staying at the nearby Peppermill Resort and took a short walk and break from gambling. Beautiful sunny day, but a cold 20* this morning. This cache was a hanger in the tree to the left and just out of sight from this picture. The creek below is frozen. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app 18 Nov 22 View Image This is a previously found virtual cache at SeaTac airport. We are here at the moment waiting for our flight for a weekend getaway. The trackables are pictured looking out from the Alaska Lounge in North Satellite. Log image uploaded from Geocaching® app
