Chatham University Nano concludes the University tour with a stop at Chatham University. Nano (snickering) explains to his new friends how all the local COLLEGES recently changed their names to "University". They all had a hearty laugh and called it a night.

Dalton at Chevron Science Center - U. Pittsburgh Lewis's home base (lab) is at Chevron Science Center at the University of Pittsburgh.
His friend Avogadro is building new types of dendrimers (a highly branched kind of polymer) that can hopefully be used in converting solar energy into hydrogen.

Gilbert Newton Lewis Nanomole I'm a nanomole... in other words just one billionth of a mole, the standard unit of measure of chemical amount. I'm named after the influential American chemist G. N. Lewis, but my friends call me G-Lew...as in glue - just like the bonding I described that held atoms together. I hope if you find me you can take me to school and help me complete my mission. Thanks!

Gilbert N. Lewis Nanomole with Infocard Gilbert Newton Lewis Nanomole is all set to travel around the United States. Hopefully he gets to visit many colleges and universities along the way. If he's lucky, he'll get to learn about the chemistry and other science being done at those schools and maybe visit a few labs!
