Missing the tundra, it's a bit hot here. 6/21/09 Sun was blaring today, but a nice breeze took the edge off here in Elk Grove, CA.

Alaska Moose @Stone Lake Preserve 6/21/09 Elk Grove, CA. This place is open one Saturday a month with a guided ranger walk through the Preserve. It's peaceful place for the Elk to roam. It's a major stopping point for the migrating Sand Hill Crane and other waterfowl.
