H.O.B.O. & Amtrak Traveller Watching Caltrain The waypoint was taken standing right next to the Historic Santa Clara Interlocking Tower you see on the left. The Caltrain service from San Francisco to San Jose is the oldest continuous running passenger train service in California. It used to be run by Southern Pacific.

H.O.B.O. and the Looping Freight Train This Union Pacific freight train set consisted of empty container cars, so it looks flat. It was long enough to loop over itself + another half loop to spare.

Historic Perris Depot I actually visited this abandoned depot hours before I got the H.O.B.O. TB. after my visit to the Orange Empire Railroad Museum nearby.
