Pokey-Joe at Franklin Mtn State Park Wow. Franklin Mountains State Park, Texas. I decided this'd be a good place to hang out for a while. I'm not too sure about being hung on this lechugilla, but they managed to get me out of it without taking a trip to the ER, and left me in a cozy cache there.

PJ and JR 2 at Guadalupe Just taking a break in the Guadalupe National Park. The fence post looked like a good place to sit and take in the view. It was good getting out of that suitcase we'd been stuffed into.

PJ and friend at Carlsbad Here we are at Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico. That is really me and JR's Travel Bug #2 in the picture. The people who took our photo said they had to get all of the sign in, or they would've taken a close-up. The caverns were awesome. We were lazy and rode the elevator 750 ft down and back. Walking that would've killed us.

Pokey Joe on the Point Pokey Joe (on a stick) is released back into the wild at "Joint on the Point" on the shore of Lake Superior in Duluth, MN. The release was part of a first find for newbies Danna & Wayne...sister and brother-in-law of summitt_dweller up from Florida.
